Our Services
Primary Healthcare Darlington provide evening and weekend GP, Nurse and HCA appointments on behalf of all GP surgeries within Darlington, offering a truly 7 day service.
These appointments are booked via your own GP surgery or you may be offered one of these appointments by the 111 service.
You will be seen at Forsyth House by clinical staff who work within Darlington but not necessarily at your own practice however they will have access to your full medical records.
Please note this is not a walk-in service, we are only able to see patients who have a booked appointment

Sexual Health Service
The Sexual Health service in Darlington is operated by Primary Healthcare Darlington (PHD). We provide 4 clinics per week—appointments can be booked by ringing : 01325 743203
We operate a specialist service for the insertion and removal of implants and coils.
We manage the emergency contraception service which is provided by a range of pharmacies in Darlington and at any of our clinics. Please go to the Sexual Health web-site for a full list of pharmacies participating in this scheme.
We also manage the C-Card scheme which provides free condoms for young people aged 13 to 24 years of age. Details of organisations and pharmacies who register patients for this scheme and provide supplies of condoms are also on the web-site.

Wellbeing Facilitators
Our wellbeing facilitators are a team of 3, who receive referrals from surgeries around Darlington to work with patients who are over the age of 65 and have moderate frailty. The facilitators will come for an informal chat about how you are doing and why you have been referred. They will take this opportunity to get to know you and your lifestyle, discuss any worries or concerns you may have and together with you, discuss your wellbeing plan.
